Twenty years in digital. Twelve in light. One studio, in London.
Dhona Ltd is a London-based creative-technology studio working at the intersection of light, code, and immersive environments. Founded by Aiminath Sulthana, the studio combines two decades of digital practice with a focused twelve-year specialism in projection mapping, laser programming, and real-time generative work.
The work is divided across four practices — original art, projection and laser commissions for galleries and events, programming and solution architecture, and marketing automation and digital strategy. Across all four, the throughline is the same: building things made of light, code, and the systems in between.
The studio holds full intellectual ownership of its original artworks, including the Birds Blade series, and operates from London with selected international engagements.
Aiminath Sulthana is the founder and creative director of Dhona Ltd. Maldives-born and London-based, her practice spans projection mapping, laser programming, generative shader work, and the technical architecture that supports each of them. She began her career in journalism before moving into digital marketing and then into light-based art.
She has worked as a projection mapping programmer for HOFA Gallery's international projects with Sougwen Chung, Joseph Klibansky, Random International, and Zheng Lu. Her own work has shown at HOFA Mayfair, the Maldives National Art Gallery, and the HOFA Digital Art Awards in Hong Kong.
